Upcoming seasonal flu vaccine clinics that are starting this week!

Tuesday September 15th - 2pm-6pm at Swift Water Elementary Community Room
Thursday September 17th - 1:30pm-5:30pm at Henderson Bay High School Commons
Thursday September 24th - 2:15pm-6:15pm at Key Peninsula Middle School Commons

There are several benefits for school communities to consider seasonal vaccination:
  • Reduced absenteeism - Lower illness rates means fewer sick days for students and staff and families, reducing the strain of childcare and staffing shortages
  • Protect vulnerable populations - Some students and staff can't be vaccinated for medical reasons and may be at higher risk for complications. High vaccination rates in the broader population help to shield these at-risk individuals. 
  • Fewer interruptions to learning - Missed instructional time is hard to make up, so healthy school populations supports academic progress
